Important Notes to Presenters

  1. Only presenter files provided via the centralized file upload facility can be accepted

  2. No more changes can be made inside the session room/hall where the session will take place
  3. If really needed, you may visit the “Speaker Ready Room” for assistance but must be at least one day before the session start time and be prepared to wait in line
  4. Please strictly follow the Instructions below to upload your presenter files
  5. At the end of the meeting, all presentation files will be destroyed

A. Forum Sessions
The overall length of the forum session is usually 1.5 hours but actual length depends on the number of speakers in that session. The last 30 minutes of the session will be dedicated to e-poster presentations and Q & A.
  1. Each presenter will be allocated 10-min for oral presentation during which you may present key-ideas, results and their meaning/implications. Please discuss the same material as reported in your paper submission.
  2. The e-poster will be the main accompaniment and each presenter will be allocated one 43-inch touch screen digital panel for presenting the e-poster.
  3. Presenters should plan to meet with the Session Chair at least 10 minutes before the session is due to start.
  4. General Instructions
    1. All oral presentations are held in Microsoft Power Point (16:9) on a PC running Windows.
    2. Language: all presentations must be in English.
    3. A single online system will manage all projections and a program coordinator helps transfer the presentations to the assigned session room automatically.
    4. In each session room, a Student Volunteer starts each presentation at the right time using the computer connected to the projector in the session room. No more changes can be made inside the session room where the session will take place.

  6. 5.1 Oral Presentation Slides
    File Size must not exceed 10MB
    Acceptable file format/type
    Slides: .ppt, .pptx, .pdf

    5.2 E-Poster
    Finished File Size: Must be 841mm x 1189mm (A0, Portrait)
    File Size must not exceed 10MB
    File Format: .pdf

    5.3 E-Poster Preparation Guide
    In general, the good ideas for preparing paper poster are applicable for also e-posters.
    1. Ensure that your font is large and clear enough from a distance; slightly larger than what you would normally have on a paper poster
    2. Choose your colours carefully, when choosing a text colour against a non-white background
    3. Remember to give your name, institution and contact details
    4. Don’t clutter your page with too much information
    5. Ensure that overall design has a logical flow
    6. Portrait in still format (i.e. pdf)
  7. For authors who have registered their papers: please follow these steps to upload your presentation slides and e-poster
    1. Log in to the Paper Submission System (http://meetmatt-svr1.net/gtdasia19/login.asp)
    2. Under Participants, click "Upload Presentation"
    3. Select the paper ID from the drop down list
    4. Click the "Upload" Button to upload the files(see figure below)
B. E-Poster Session
This will be held on Fri-22 Mar 2019 in the Exhibition Hall from 15:30 to 17:00
  1. All posters must be presented digitally. Each presenter will be allocated a 43” touch screen digital panel. Presentations in hard copy posters will not be accepted.
  2. A single online system will manage all e-posters and a program coordinator helps transfer the presentations to the digital panels. No more changes can be made in the exhibition hall where the poster session is taking place.
  3. Presenters should plan to be at your digital panel at least 10 minutes before the session

    4.1 For authors who have registered their papers: please follow these steps to upload your e-poster
